"We were in the august an extended weekend than couple of mid 30 in bacharach and visited this cafe rather by chance on a very hot summer day. nice staff, our ice-cream specialties came quickly, our little dog even got a water dish, reasonable prices and the quality of dessert was also great.Because then no taxi was to get, we were even taken with us privately! so nice and honest you rarely experience. when we're back there, we know where we're drinking cafe, eating cake or ice cream. in any case there. bacharach is special, you can also find rude restaurants, this is therefore especially recommended. not only placed necessary courtesy, but lived honest friendliness and service!"

"The sun is shining, the beautiful bells of St. Peter 's next door are ringing just a gorgeous scene when we ate here. I knocked off one star, because even though the food is really good, it 's not as good as other restaurants in these small Rhineland Palatinate towns. The sauces are where it wasn 't the equal to other restaurants. That being said, the food is really good. Stay away from the Bolognese Schnitzel, sauce not very good. Likewise, do not get pizza here, basically a cracker with tons of onion. On the other hand the dish called Haxenpfanne pig knuckle for 12,90 € oh my word!! Get this delicious dinner, the kraut the this tender juicy meat was to die for. All the other schnitzel dishes were great. All entrees were between 9€ and 15€ desserts were 9 €, add the dreaded 19% tax on all restaurant eating and this bill went pretty high. I would definitely go back though, so it was worth it. Service was kind and efficient."

"Lovely property, rooms are renovated and well appointed. We reserved a balcony room and got it after a short mixup. Great breakfast. Close to the train station. Owner was accommodating, staff was polite except one young lady with an odd attitude on most of our encounters. We enjoyed our stay and would return."
