"Excellent place for trying traditional and British favourites. Buffet (all you can eat) is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. The selection is great; classics like tikka masala, korma, balti and rice dishes, along with starters of onion bhaji, chicken pakora and the amazing garlic mushrooms, plus homemade and more traditional Indian dishes (authentic and really good). Poppadoms and naan also provided, noodles, chips etc. There is also a small dessert selection, this time there was a homemade rice pudding dish which was so good. Such a good selection, great value and lovely service. I absolutely love the buffet at this place and we return time and time again for the food."

"What an incredible, traditional, village pub with great food and wonderful staff! After moving to this area recently, I, a gay man with 3 dogs, have received the most incredible welcome by absolutely everyone who works and frequents this place. I can honestly say that I have utilised this space for all it has to offer, from drinks, to off the cuff culinary nourishment, which isn’t always easy as a vegetarian, and I have loved every moment and taste! I have introduced many of my friends to this place when celebrating and not one of them have ever been disappointed, in fact, they have all commented on the cleanliness, the efficiency and the quality of everything they have experienced! Thank you so much for your consistency, your acceptance, and your continued quality in everything you do, you’re all awesome!!!"

"We are was so lucky to have the Steak and Stamp so near, for special meals out it is a great place to spend some quality time. We tried the special aged steak which you order by the ounce which were lovely, tender and tasty. The sides were nice, and the Staff helpful."

"My partner and I visited Frankie and Benny’s, The Derwen Designer Outlet Village, Bridgend for lunch during a shopping trip. We were greeted promptly and shown to a table but we asked if we could be sat near a window which was fine. We ordered drinks my partner had a Diet Coke and I ordered a glass of Peroni which didn’t look or taste like Peroni? My partner had lasagne which was satisfactory but lacked any real meat content and I had the hot dog with fries which I enjoyed. The food is basically pub grub at probably the going rate and filled a little hole until we could get home for tea. We wouldn’t rush back to any Frankie and Benny’s again and were disappointed on the amount of quality eateries available at the Village Outlet."

"Went there for Sunday lunch recently. I cannot fault the food for taste and quantity and the surroundings are comfortable and clean. Very busy on a Sunday. We booked for 12md, we’re served at 1pm and advised that they needed the table for 2pm, so be aware of this but the food was lovely! Will go again but probably at 2pm."

"We decided to try a different pub for a meal just for a change , we were not disappointed with our choice, evidently the pub only does meals Thursday to Sunday, we were just lucky it was Thursday, so we ordered. I had a Gammon which was superb not salty or skinny it came with decent chips mushrooms 3 tomatoes egg and pineapple with also a little rocket and cucumber this has to be the very best gammon meal I have ever had, my wife had the butterfly chicken with mushroom sauce with chips and a side salad of rocket tomatoes etc , needless to say her meal was very well received too. The restaurant area was a very pleasant place to be just adjacent to the main bar area on a slightly raised level , I would heartily recommend this pub for the meals , Thursday is quite quiet I cannot vouch for the quiet atmosphere Friday onwards though as it surely will be far busier"

With my dairy intelorance, Helena was really helpful in knowing my choices and they were both really patient with my husband and I. Really impressed by the non dairy choices on the menu especially with the desserts. Will be coming again ."
