"My man and I found this beautiful restaurant after changing the Christmas market in the rain and it was nice to enter this warm and welcoming place. first they said they couldn't sit us without reservation and said that the people would come to a time, two hours later. I assured her that we will be good and done in this time so that they wanted to sit down. our server was a beautiful and friendly young woman who was very accommodating. I could spill my glass of wine and she was there right away, clean up my chaos and bring me a fresh glass! we had a typical German tariff and everything was delicious! the restaurant is very bright and charming furnished. we highly recommend."

"This café has an amazing location with a view right onto the church of Einsiedeln. We haven't tried the food but only came for drinks and dessert. One of the cakes was great, the other one too filled with alcohol. The tea and coffee were ok. We'd suggest coming here just for the location itself, ideally sitting outside."

"Waren schon mehrere Male in der Walhalla und gingen immer zufrieden raus. Die Karte ist speziell am Mittag sehr klein und einfach gehalten (3 Menues und kleines à-la-carte-Angebot). Es handelt sich um einen Familienbetrieb, an welchen auch eine Metzgerei/Catering-Service angegliedert ist. Daher ist die Fleischqualität immer tip-top. Service freundlich und schnell; manchmal fast zu schnell. Spezialitäten: Cordon-bleu, Kotelettes, Tartar. Die Küche ist "urchig" und wenig ambitiös, was jedoch die meisten schätzen - man weiss, was auf dem Teller ist. Am Sonntag wird ein Sonntags-Menue angeboten (Salat/Hauptgericht/Dessert), welches preislich sehr interessant ist (Fr. 35.-- bis 38.--). Kleine, feine Weinauswahl, v.a. Schweizer Weine. Wer sich unter der Woche schnell und günstig verpflegen will, ohne Qualitätsabstriche zu machen, ist mit der Walhalla sehr gut bedient. Am Sonntag kann man sich dann etwas mehr Zeit lassen. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: Service geht manchmal wirklich sehr, sehr schnell, wodurch dann schon mal eine Kantinengefühl aufkommen kann. Wenn man's hier etwas langsamer angeht, ist wahrscheinlich allen gedient."

"Great find in this wonderful town. Large cafe restaurant located directly in front of the cathedral so the view is great. offering a large range of delicious local dishes, desserts and cakes. Had one of the daily specials - large serving of delicious food served piping hot - accompanied by a local beer. Staff friendly and knowledgable on what to see and do in the town. Great value, recommended!"
