"We were a large group of middleaged researchers and had loads of fun. The choice of food compared to the costs were OK and the host is a real italian guy. Jokes fun and wine which was OK. Go and enjoy the excellent meet."

"This is a review for the restaurant only. My wife and I honeymooned in Grindelwald, and our place was one bus stop away. Hotel Alpenblick is just off the downtown strip, so we didn't see it for the first few days. Trust me it is worth leaving the downtown area to come here, both for the quality and price of the food. We ate here for 3 dinners two in a row and then one coming all the way from Wengen on our last night. The food was fresh and local I ate off the seasonal menu twice, which includes local game. The menu offered a lot of variety, and the tastes were well thought out and well put together for each of the 5 meals we tried. The barley soup and cream of ratatouille soup, the Cocotte Alpenblick, the pheasant with sauerkraut, the homemade icecreams and sorbets, and the chocolate tart were all highlights of our whole honeymoon. The most surprising aspect was the cost of the food. We expected a high price for ingredients of this quality and meals of this caliber, but this was more affordable than any of the restaurants in downtown Grindelwald or Wengen and gave much larger portions. For 2 starters, 2 meals, and 2 (or 3) desserts, it cost us 81, 110, and 90 Francs. The staff were friendly and easy to speak with. They answered our many questions patiently. Everything about our experience dining at Hotel Alpenblick was positive, and I cannot recommend it more highly."

"My family and I stopped to have lunch and fell in love with the place. Waitress Julia from Hungary always smiling and eager to please. Menu choices many and surprising different. The Owner stopped to chat. It is obvious he and his wife and devoted passion and money to bringing this jewel up to current tastes.We did not stay overnight, but saw pictures of one cute room for a family of five.A wonderful setting, very kid friendly with a sophisticated large play area, wide viewing decks and warm hospitality."

"Nachdem in der Zwischensaison die meisten besseren Restaurants in Grindelwald geschlossen hatten, waren mein Mann und ich froh, dass das Restaurant Schmitte ganzjährig geöffnet hat. WIr haben, wie gewünscht, einen Tisch am Fenster erhalten. Der Service war perfekt, das Menü außergewöhnlich und sehr lecker. Besonders gut war die Spargeltrilogie. Auch die Weinauswahl war nicht zu beanstanden. RUndum ein gelungener Abend. Sehr zu empfehlen."

"We have visited Cafe 3692 on 4th of June, taking rather short yet steep hiking trail. The place is cozy, wonderfully situated with a gorgeous mountain view. The food is all organic and local, make sure to try the desserts!"

"Um es Vorneweg zu sagen: Grindelwald ist wunderschön und man kann sehr viel unternehmen - auch mit Familie. Nach genau solch einem Tag mit tollen Aktivitäten (Kinderwanderung Liselotte Weg ) freuten wir uns auf ein gemütliches Abendessen im CuM. Leider war die Enttäuschung gross, denn das Essen war mittelmässig und der Preis viel zu hoch. Das ist reine Geldmacherei!Positiv hervorzuheben war die Bedienung, die sich wirklich um und bemühte.Wer lediglich einen Apero auf der tollen Terrasse einnehmen will, ist hier richtig - aber für ein Abendessen stimmt das Preis Leistung Verhältnis nicht!"

"My husband and I stayed in the Signature Room for 3 nights and it was the most amazing experience ever! The view from our personal terrace was breathtaking! The room itself was very modern and clean! Each and every one of the staff at the Boutique Hotel Glacier were so friendly and efficient! When it came time for check-out, I really didn’t want to leave! I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for an accommodation in Grindelwald! 110% no regrets!"
