"I had a very nice evening, the atmosphere was very swiss mountain lodge (which is cute but may be a little overdone). I tried the tomato and the carrot soups, both of which tasted fantastic, great to warm up after a cold day spent outside. The main courses were also great, the meat was mouthwatering and the pasta with truffles tasted like heaven. The desserts were a little too far fetched in my opinion, they seemed too experimental for typical swiss mountain cuisine, therefore didn't really fit the theme. Although there were many to choose from, thus there may have been better things available."

"NreVoila un lieu pour déguster des crèmes glacées originales et délicieuses. Le service est un peu lent ce qui permet de goûter aux pâtisseries en attendant. Comme souvent dans ce genre de station l'ambiance est peu snob."

"We stayed at the Alpina and had several meals here. Food is good quality as is the service. There is a good selection for kids and adults. I recommend this place for a casual lunch or dinner. The dinner ambience is superb with a live band and a great scenery of the mountains in the background. Don't miss this experience in Gstaad."

"It was our second time in Megu and I can tell that the food and service have definitely improved since the summer of 2017. The most noticeable change is the dessert and we were really pleasantly surprised with what we had at the end of our tasting menu. The dessert was fresh, had amazing flavours and textures so congratulations to the pastry chef. However, I would like to mention just a few points of constructive criticism with my best intentions at heart. I wish the portions for the tasting menu were just a touch bigger for the price you pay. As you can see from the pictures most of the dishes were barely 50g and the sushi was 5 piece of nigiri. We actually ordered extra temaki which for a menu of nearly 200chf should have been necessary. we could tell that the waiters were trying to serve everyone as best as they could but still for a 1 michelin star restaurant I felt that they didn't spend enough time to explain the dishes in details. More often than not it was us who asked questions about the ingredients. I also felt that an amuse buche should have been included in the menu for a restaurant of this range. With that being said, we had a great time and would love to come back and see how the restaurant progresses."

"The portions are pretty large so we order 3 servings for 4 people but it was still too much! A lovely blend of cheese and some nice meats to dip. The deserts were lovely too!"
