Due to health reasons, we decided at short notice to stay with half board at the Gstaaderhof in order to switch off a bit. It was an excellent decision. Service is certainly not up to swiss standards is some of the worst in the entire berne canton. The staff runs around like they have no idea what they're doing. Everything is extremely slow and bad. They have no idea where to put the plates on the tables. 20 minutes to get the bill. Quality of the meat is bad. No flavor and very chewy.
