"This is the most under the radar spot presently in Portland. If you know the lineage and talent of Patrick McKee then this should be no surprise. This was the second visit that only reinforced the beauty and subtle developed flavors Patrick endowsinto his food. Well balanced, complex yet light and hearty at the same time that doesn't overwhelm and still makes you feelwell loved and comforted. Exactly as Chef McKee is, his food is. Go now but don't be surprised the reservations are full."

"Food is always hot and good, but we ordered $45 of street tacos and just wanted them with meat and cheese only. Pretty easy order, they were fully loaded. Called and mentioned it to them and they could careless that our order was wrong."

"You can smell how amazing this place is from a block away! If you like cardamom, the ocean roll is 100% for you. Even if you don’t like cardamom, I think it’s definitely worth a try. So so delicious! The inside had enough seeing for 15-20 people, so it got cramped kind of quickly, but there’s nice outdoor seating options too if the weather allows."

"So had dinner here tonight for my birthday. Ate at this restaurant when it was on Fremont. It IS NOT the same. Ordered the Caramelized onion and pear tart to start. Very good. Tried to order the Kir from the drink menu. No cassis ... tried to order coffee no coffee. Had the 6oz Ribeye with Potatoes Anna. Toughest thing I ever tried to eat. Hammered on the outside raw inside. Potatoes burnt black on top. Not crisp BURNT. I politely told the waiter how bad it was and he said wow that is raw would you like another. I declined after I saw the cook come out and tell the waiter and the other woman working there to throw a bunch of towels down on the floor by the spill by the bus tub. My date had the trout en papillote. Complete mush inside. Dessert my date had a Fallen Chocolate Soufflé was more akin to the dominos version. I had Pear Cobbler. Was like a bisquick cake with pear topping and a drizzle of honey. Was really a shocker for us for a place that used to be spectacular. Also when you walk in there is a bus tub station full of dirty dishes and water. Right next to the bar and few tables. Just a mess all around. When the waiter brought our check he said to me I could not comp your meal but I took off the few glasses of wine . I didn 't asked to be compensated but the wine was still on the bill. Just paid and left. Won 't go back but I hope this place can pull it back together. Such a disappointment."

"Five stars for the V GF strawberry donut. Minus three stars for the chocolate V GF donut. It tasted like batter. So two stars but add one star for having vegan gluten free donuts and add a star for SW Portland almost Tigard location. Hate driving in Tigard past all the restaurants, bakeries and donut shops that carry nothing I can eat. Hate driving all the way to Portland to get any pastry let alone a donut, a really, really good donut.And add one star for the owner. She was very cheerful and welcoming, it definitely added to the positive atmosphere.So a five star review. I'll be back to try the V GF chocolate donut assuming that bad one was a fluke and to see whatever other selection they have to see if it is as good as that strawberry donut."

"Had a beautiful date night here. Great ambiance. Nice service. Food fell a bit flat for me. Sashimi was good, but there was a lack of unique characteristics (and salt) in the other dishes. Highlight that I really enjoyed was the blackened cod! Some of the other dishes had potential but missed the mark, like the shaved onion salad and beef tataki. Overall a safe option but nothing outstanding."
