"There is a wide variety of very reasonably priced food here. We enjoyed the fish and chips and grilled cheese. Based on their menu, it would be a great place to also have breakfast. Nothing special on the inside but with good service and amazing views of Lunenburg, it is worth it. This place is open to the public so don't worry about being a member."

"I ordered 2 espresso drinks and 3 sweets, all to go. When handed the drinks with lids on, I asked for verification that the mocha did indeed have whipped cream on top and was told yes. After leaving with hands full, got to vehicle and discovered it absolutely did not have whipped cream. This is the second time this has occurred - first time I assumed was an oversight - I now know better. Also, their coffee seems to be going down hill - very weak and watery. As for the sweets - I watched as clerk broke the butter tart as she was taking it from the stand and putting it in the bag. As you can imagine, the gooey insides were all over the bag and all that was left when I got home was a broken shell. Won't go back."

"I visited Lamprai and Spice Café for the second time this month with my family, and it is definitely worth the trek from Halifax to savour Suni's authentic, flavorful offerings. As a lover of spicy, exotic foods, I can say that I was absolutely delighted by the meals she lovingly prepared for my family, and we experienced the full spectrum of her kitchen prowess. We feasted on the three available combos both times: tamarind beef, coconut shrimp and butter chicken. I like my food extra spicy, so she offered me a chili shrimp sambol condiment to accompany my already sublime butter chicken amazing! The side dishes with their complex spices and ingredients danced on my tongue and made my mouth very happy! To go with our food, we ordered the Sri Lankan iced coffee, which was delicately sweet and creamy and very satisfying I am in love . She also showed me her industrial spice grinding machine, where she prepares her two delicious blends: roasted spices for meats and poultry and another curry mix for veggies. I purchased and used both at home, and they are perfect for those nights when you are craving flavour but do not have a lot of time to cook everything from scratch. Try this Lunenburg treasure you will love it!"
