"Now called the Riverside Inn, Shrawley. I had dinner with family. The building isn’t the prettiest, but the location is great, right on the Severn, and the food was incredible. It was the best food I’ve eaten this year. As a starter, I had a poached, breaded duck egg with the best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever tasted , very light, fluffy and citrusy. I lapsed from fish and veggies and had roast pork belly which was incredibly soft and juicy. My brother had sea bass that was served on a bed of cherry tomatoes, olives, capers, artichokes and the same amazing Hollandaise sauce. Sister in law had lamb, which was similarly fantastic. The puds were superb too. I had limoncello lemon tart with orange blossom honey, ginger syrup and meringue. Apparently the chef Alex is Michelin listed. Front of house staff were a delight. Service of desserts was a little slow, but this just left time for more conversation. The wine and beer selection was not extensive, but perfectly adequate. Food drinks: Very high standard"

"What an excellent find, a gem of a place, and Martin was a wonderful host. Excellent food, cooked fresh to order, room was characteristic, great shower and an amazing bed, best night sleep I have had in weeks. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty, Martin is an excellent cook and very friendly and approachable. We will definitely stay again. I can't recommend this B&B enough Rooms: 5"

"I called today with a friend and our dogs after a walk in the one. We were greeted with very friendly staff who gave our dogs friendly plenty of water. we had a piece of homemade carrot cake and victoria sandwich, both were delicious. would definitely recommend and will immerse again. a lot of luck for them all in their new venture."

"We went for dinner Saturday as a 4 . We hadn’t been before having recently moved locally , but walk past often so thought we would give it a try . Well we had a really good evening . One could say it’s ‘old fashioned ‘ but we thought it traditional. It’s a proper family run restaurant, not a bland brand driven fashion statement place to eat . What made the evening was the atmosphere, very warm friendly . Excellent attentive service , we felt relaxed , not rushed . There is a more limited menu I believe at this time , the full menu seems extensive, however there was still a good choice . We had the duck , steaks the mushroom stroganoff. All very well cooked , with a lot of vegetables to accompany. Finished with a really tasty praline gateau."
