"We were traveling from the Czech Republic back to Austria and stopped in Passau for a late lunch. Although it was almost closing time, we were seated and promptly served. The pasta dishes were perfectly prepared and the pizzas were made with fresh ingredients. We wanted coffee and dessert and ordered the tiramisu. More than a week later, we are still talking about this superb rendition of the classic dessert. If we are traveling this way again, we would certainly stop and try some more dishes, and order the tiramisu again!"

"Take the lift to the 9th floor and you will find a comfortable and spacious café with superb views over Passau and surrounding countryside. It is very good for photography. Our waiter was very helpful, providing us with an English menu, and the food which we ordered was not long in coming and delicious."

Early, noon, evening it is always the right time to look briefly at Kowalski. Too bad the legendary Toast Kowalski is no longer in the map..."

"A very pleasant ambience both indoor at the upscale bar and on the covered patio at the back of the restaurant. Many people spoke highly of the steak offerings, however, we obviously more poorly chose. One of us chose the "3 course menu" of foamy mushroom soup with bacon crouton, brown sauce heavy beef stroganoff with spaetzle, and excellent panna cotta with fruit. The other of us chose the stuffed chicken breast, the tomato based bread stuffing of which was pushed out and aside after a few bites. Large servings which could be easily split. Very little English is spoken by a very friendly and efficient waitstaff."

"I was here a few times. the cakes are very delicious and the staff is helpful and beautiful. I didn't find it very good. I have specifically tried curry and would not recommend it. it did not taste fresh. my friends ordered other things and were not very happy either."

"Went there a couple of times now (whenever I am in Passau that is). Have always been more than satisfied. Definetly the best italian restaurant in the Passau area. It's real high class italian cuisine for little money in a very relaxed atmosphere. Mind you,...there is no Pizza or such. They focus is on things you do not get in every other italian restaurant (though there is a couple of Pasta variations that every boy and girl will like so don't worry just go)."
