"Do there always exist places like this in 2022? I wish I could give less than one star, but it is not possible ... Dinner with 17 children and about 30 adults Children served almost immediately with pizzas. No waiter in the meantime comes to the parents' table to take the order, not even to bring water and wine, at least to bring a bit of bread to damp the hunger. Slowly, after about half an hour, the waiters come to take the order and to speed up we take a mixed appetizer and grilled mixed meat for everyone or almost. After several pickles finally comes water and wine and after more than one hour comes the appetizer (if you can define it.... bacon toasted in tiny cutlets, you know that as many had ended in two seconds... Ah the appetizer consisted only in this “sprinkled bacon” and three bags of bread dispersed in a table (who was lucky took one). Same speech for the grilled meat, if not worse, four or five cutter cutters and a rosemary bone at the head, but perhaps to someone is not even touched and three/four tiny portions of vegetables that perhaps would be enough for five/six people....ah also of the jars of frozen fries . Not to mention that we had to ask a thousand times for water and wine. 12 euros per head the children (for a pizza that from other parts is definitely more good and pay 8 euros . 15 euros per head for the 3/4 adults who having also taken their pizza (I would like to know the reason for the 3 euros more than the children since the pizza was the same size and the cherry on the final cake: 750 euros of meat to be divided for the remaining adults.... Better not write anything else. Consider you....say not recommended for large boards is little. Evidently I am not able to manage them from the kitchen Among other owners very rude and arrogant... P.S. We had to ask if he offered us to finish the dinner a limoncello (with what we left him € he had to give us a family bottle ."

"Although the setting is semi formal but relaxed, the greeting and the service are essentially by the family. I went through a friend whose father was a youth mate of the historical owner, so my greeting was biased in a way. The food speaks for itself: Pasta Santa Monica a slightly spicy tomato based sauce rich with herbs and sautéed with Parmesan (can't be any simpler, but makes you want to literally scrape the plate....mind your manners! Main course: Tripe alla Fiorentina, what else? A triumphant ode to the traditional Florentine plate. Fantastic. It was all washed down with a generous calice of red Morellino, but I could not resist having the agrumance semifreddo with pine nuts and Strega liquor (based on saffron . Simply gorgeous meal."
