"I saw on google for sunday roasts near me, the magpie combs ford came up, we went to the pub got a nice welcome from owners/stoves and some local, beautiful selection on beer, ales, apfelwein on hahn, roasts come in small, medium and large, a local sweat have the big, then they do not have to eat til diestag. we have cooked for medium-sized, generous amount of meat with the choice of sauce meat, pork, gammon between us we all had 3, they were tasty and tender, then they have frying pans, frying potatoes, filling, then they have about 10 vegs to choose, the cauliflower/Brokoli cheese that was as good as that, all the desserts list is also great, we had belgien waffel and Marmelade-Roly poly are photos, the custard was so creamy. we have booked before, would definitely recommend this. many thanks to the magpie, my only regret is that I am not a native, because this would be my local pub if I did it. will be back, though the trip is worth."

"A wonderful little cafe, with all the usual hot and cold drinks. We each opted for coffee, to complement a scone. Don't underestimate how easy it is to get scones wrong. I am pleased to say Langhams gets them right, light with a super texture and slightly warm. The coffee was good as well. Staff were brilliant and lots of space between tables. We need to return to try the other cakes and treats that are available."

"I saw on Google for Sunday roasts near me, the Magpie Combs Ford came up, we went in pub got a nice greeting from owner/staff and some locals, nice selection of beers, ales, apple wine on tap, frying come in small, medium and large, a local jokes have the big, then you don't have to eat til Tuesday. We have made ourselves for medium-sized, generous amount of meat with the choice of beef, pork meat, gammon between us all had 3, they were delicious and tender, then you have roasted pipes, roasted potatoes, filling, then you have about 10 vegs to choose from, the cauliflower/Brokoli cheese the sauce was so good, all the vegs cooked only perfect, then socen The Desserts list is also great, we had Belgium waffle and Marmelade Poly view photos, the Custard was so creamy. We have booked in advance, would definitely recommend this. Thank you to the Magpie, my only regret is that I am not a local because this is definitely my local pub if I did. Will be worth the trip."
