"We have been to Chef Eric’s restaurant more than once and the food is fabulous. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional and Eric is a great host that makes you feel extremely welcome and cares about your dining experience. Thank you for another wonderful culinary experience. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible by wheelchair but no accessible toilet. I recommend booking so that a table can be put aside that can be accessed as it is quite small room. The quality of food is worth the effort."

"Went for some drinks on the beach front decking very nice setting. Sun shining beer refreshing. I got peckish and ordered a chicken burger. It came it looked good but as I tucked in I realised my chicken burger was frozen in the middle. I went up to the bar and quietly told the bar lady who was very pleasent) she took it away and brought out a fresh one. Which was decorated different i.e the quality of sidesald amount of chips. The burger was piping hot this time. The bar service was good quality of the food wasn't even when it was redone it was cheap quality of food and at 15 16 pounds I'd expect a nice chicken breast coated in crumbs not a processed frozen what ever it was. No refund or drinks offered. Just a sorry and a replacement meal. I'd visit again for a drink but not the food sadly."

"Enjoyed a nice quiet meal with family at The Goodwin. We have dined there several times over the past twenty years and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The proprietor is gracious and the food is fresh and well prepared. I had pan grilled...scallops which were perfectly cooked. All the desserts are prepared fresh daily and the coconut cream pie with meringue was luscious. Prices are reasonable. They serve wine and a limited amount of cocktails. This is like dining in your grandmothers home but someone else does all the work. What's not to enjoy!"
