"Bad service and coffee. I ordered a hot coffee and a donut. The cashier didn't give me a receipt nor did he ask if I wanted one so,when it came down getting my order it was missing my donut. I told the guy who made my coffee that I ordered a donut,he toldthat I didn't and then he continued to act like I was lying.After all that,my coffee tasted burnt ????. This was my first timegoing to that location but,I will honestly never go there again"

"Best donuts in Maine! We liked them better than Holy Donuts. They told us they use no chemicals, that's important. Food should taste like food, and these definitely did. Def go for the cruller. Just do it. Try a few. They won't disappoint."

"We go to untried restaurants with neighbors every few weeks and read good reviews about Darsalam. We loved it as soon as we walked into the cozy spot full of momentos and photographs ! of Iraq. My only quibble is the price, which was surprisingly high, but then I realized that we'd had a bottle of wine plus enough food for us to each take home practically another meal. We will go again for certain, but order less food. The kabobs were exceptional, as was the beet salad, but one was plenty to split 4 ways, and we ordered 2. Lovely staff, cozy spot and great food!"

"My girl friend and I decided to stop by for happy hour. The Oregon Sangria was quite refresing and flavorful. That said, the food was sub par. We ordered the Country pate plate. I feel like the least they could do was use fresh bread or toast the bread. The pate could use a little warming up also. The steak we ordered was supposedly the same as what was on the dinner menu just $10 cheaper. It was on the fattier side and a tad too much to be enjoyable. I had a great experience with the dinner menu last time I came by. The quality might have gone down since it was happy hour."

"Note to all wait staff out there, when a patron asks for the Must haves on the menu, tell them your favorites or most popular. Don’t say everything on the menu is delicious cause chances are, not so much. Food was mediocre at best. Very hip, fun, open venue but wait staff and food quality were some of the worst I have had in Portland. Too bad."
