"I would normally not complain about my food because we all have bad days and I had a good experience at this point before. But today is an exception. The Shakes we ordered are burned. Not freezer burned like the boy suggested when I made him aware of the problem. Burnt... how the machine got fired and had the taste on my milkshake. I don't know another way to describe him. So $14 milkshake did not sit there without being consumed as much as an apology. Talk about leaving a bad taste in your mouth. As I am here, sick only show that the pommes were fat and not very well seasoned. I'm not from here, but I have tried NIE such a bad experience with NO, whatever it does right. Be quiet."

"Update: Approximately 8/1/2022. The Manager had reached out to me from my earlier review and asked for the opportunity to make it up to me. Essentially they gave me a free meal. It was pain free and no problems. This time the burger tasted like I would expect. The salt was normal and it tasted great. I upgraded from a 3 star to a 4.5 star. First review: I got the double patty cheeseburger. I liked the smashed part and all the toppings. The problem was that it was waaaay too salty. I had never had smashburger before but I am sure it had to be a mistake or accident with that much salt. I just renamed it Saltburger. I'll try it again because I know they would not be in business with meat that salty."

"I always feel like Smashburger could be great, but doesn't quite hit the mark. Both Smash fries and sweet potato fries have a tendency to be on the stale side. I am not sure if that is because we always get them to go, or if they are generally like that. It is nice that they have a sweet potato option. The flavors on both are strong. Burgers had a crispy char on the edges. Some of the edges remain crisp in transport, others become more stale. The Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger has an earthy and garlicky flavor. It is the most consistently flavorful. The Spicy Baja with Guac did not have the spice or flavor I was expecting. The only spice I got, was when I bit into the fresh jalapenos. It had more of a fatty beef flavor, and texture overall. Kid's meals have the option of ordering milk as the drink. They are on par with fast food children's options."

"Burgers that smash those cravings and needs for a good juicy burger. I highly recommend them. I have tried their double turkey and black bean burgers as well. Great choices. But for me their classic singles or doubles are the ones you go for. With a nice side of sweet potato fries and a milkshake to wash it down. I had the pleasure of having my local smashburger that is in lindenhurst."
