"Great location, right on the beach of Waikiki. Good food, great customer service. Very friendly and respectful staff. We went to peak hours in the evening. The food was served on time, and there was no rush to take off quickly for the next guest. The food content was also good. We need a point to give a 4 star because of the AC leaking drops of water where we sat. It was easy, but obviously enough to be looked after by the restaurant owners."

"We had such great experience dining at Roy's Waikiki. It was really busy on a Friday night when we walked in and was advised there will be at least 30 min wait for a table. However, there was table by the kitchen which was available immediately so we were happy to take it! It turned out to be the best seats in the house, as you could watch all the actions in the kitchen preparing the scrumptious food. To start, there was complimentary edamame which was perfectly seasoned, then we had the Hawn Martini. Between the two of us, we shared the Double decker sashimi and 3 course dinner prawn, ribs, spring roll as entree, short ribs as main, macadamia nuts as dessert). All the food are so delicious and service is excellent! If you're at Waikiki, you must give this place a try! Highly recommended."

"We came here before 7:00 p.m. and beat the busy time. We were able to sit immediately. Service was good and the food was okay. I chose the Tsuru Ton Tan udon, the #1 choice. You have a choice of fat or skinny udon. If you make it prior to 5:30, they have happy hour prices which would save you a few bucks. My tempura was on the soggy side, as if my bowl was sitting a little before being served. I think if it was served right away, I would rate it higher. I would try the sushi next time."

"Wow! Sushi was far away the best I had in the area of the three places I was. But also some of the best sushi I've ever had, time. Very recommended. The cuts of the chefs were excellent. Everything came out picturesque. They could have been used as ideal examples of inspiring sushi cuisine. You also encourage you to order a piece when you do the Nigri. Mix and match as many as you want and pay the same price regardless of the number ordered. No need to order 2 pieces if you just want 1. I definitely come back."
