"Small, friendly restaurant in the heart of the old town. Reasonably priced and fabulous steaks. Entrecote comes in a couple of size servings and is cooked on a wood fire, delicious! Second visit we had a shared tapas platter which was tasty and ample for €18. Friendly, relaxed owner who has a sense of humour. Recommend for a no frills, good food, lunch or dinner. We were persuaded to try a Patagonian red wine, which didn't disappoint."

"We first visited this wonderful restaurant approx 20 years ago and it remained in our memories throughout. To our surprise it was still there today, So we decided to have lunch there. It certainly lived up to expectations, even though in that time it has change owners. Everything was delicious including the 'amuse bouche' which was included with the Plat D'Jour with choice. Not cheap but excellent value, service and presentation. Very highly recommended."

"This is one of our Go-to-Hunts for a relaxed, satisfying meal at an unpredictable price. The host is insulting, the staff efficient, and the decor decided amusing, decorating the walls with wry oenophilic supplements and quotes. The menu with standard perigourdine specialties, prepared with...flair, had enough variety and often changes enough to let us come back, and the dishes are always well prepared and plentiful. A plus: on Thursday evening the kitchen is Moroccan, served generous portions of grilled meat with classic brewed vegetables and couscous."
