"What a fantastic place! Our first time here while on vacation. The food was outstanding. Although well-known for their burgers, I had the Mediterranean veggie linguine (pictured), my wife had the grilled shrimp tacos, and my sun had a cheeseburger. All the food was excellent and our server was really great and friendly. The place is small and when busy, food can take a bit, so expect that if you go when busy. But, everything is freshly prepared and well worth the wait."

"Good, consistently good. Have often stopped at this point, and today for a quick bite with seller who has never been with a Lion's Choice before he was positive about the food, French Di Sandwich had. My extra meat-coochdar sandwich was also good, like the pommes and service."

"Probably the best place to eat in the city. Has fresh turned food under $10 w/o a drink. One of my favorite buffets on the west coast. They were at eleven when they opened and in the afternoon the food was fresh both times. If you have to stop in Eureka, it's a good place to eat."

"We are coming through Eureka on vacation, as I'm sure many others do, and found The Banana Hut online. We decided to go there for dinner because it was something different and had good reviews. All of the food we ordered was so delicious and the atmosphere was fun! My mom got the coconut shrimp with a green salad and pineapple gravy on her rice. My dad got the mahi mahi dish with macaroni salad and pineapple gravy on his rice. I got the Kalua Pig sliders and sweet potato fries those are some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had!"

"Here's the thing, the food is amazing. For takeout im sure it's amazing. I got the beef bowl and it was absolutely amazing and I loved it. However the rest of the expirience was nothing but wretched. The service was an absolute 1 star. At first I think the waitress thought we just wanted to just sit outside and not eat for some reason. That resolved itself after a couple minutes. My entire stay lasted for 2 hours due entirely to slow service. My friend ordered the lentil burger and it was cooked to death. If it wasn't for the great taste, this would be an easy 1 star. I want to love you, Taste of Bim, but I cannot."
