"Went there a couple of times now (whenever I am in Passau that is). Have always been more than satisfied. Definetly the best italian restaurant in the Passau area. It's real high class italian cuisine for little money in a very relaxed atmosphere. Mind you,...there is no Pizza or such. They focus is on things you do not get in every other italian restaurant (though there is a couple of Pasta variations that every boy and girl will like so don't worry just go)."

"At the main entrance you would not recon what is behind the tide looking arched roof restaurant with past century style. If you follow the sign you end up in one of the most nostalgic gardens of this century. Locals who are all age, gaps...hanging from the top, old school waiters who ofer frascati and lambrusco and if you run in at Tuesdays you will get estonished by ife pieces of Italian music classics. The food is better than other wannabes but the ambience is by far more than any other place. This is all happening in summer!!! Donno what it looks like in winter"

"An einem schönen Sommerabend waren wir hier im Scharfrichterhaus auf der Terrasse und haben wunderbar gegessen, getrunken und den Abend genossen. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Für unseren nächsten Besuch in Passau vorgemerkt."

"Waren zum ersten Mal im mondo italiano, weil uns Freunde eingeladen hatten. Wir waren am frühen Abend, so dass das Lokal nur leicht besetzt war und wir freie Platzwahl hatten. Zum Glück hatten wir tolles Wetter, also haben wir draußen Platz genommen. Der Service war ziemlich schnell. Die Getränke standen relativ bald auf unserem Tisch und die Bestellung wurde zügig serviert. Wir hatte alle Pizza und waren sehr zufrieden. Schöner dünner knuspriger Boden und frische Zutaten. Lecker! Die Preise sind für diese Lage vollkommen in Ordnung."
