"Lovely afternoon spent having drinks at Waves. We were pleasantly surprised to find the owner was English as the bar looked Portuguese and certainly didn't have that awful 'Brits abroad' feel that is all so common. Beautiful view, great selection, very reasonable prices and great conversation from Mary. Thoroughly recommend."

"Num bom dia de praia, este almoço foi a cereja no topo do bolo. Comida fantástica, atendimento divinal, preços bastante acessíveis, espaço super agradável, ambiente acolhedor e sofisticado e uma vista lindíssima. Vale totalmente a pena a ida. O hambúrguer de salmão foi uma surpresa super agradavel, assim como a sobremesa da pastelaria deles. Os molhos são uma delicia e uma tentação. Vou falar sempre bem deste restaurante e tenciono voltar, muito em breve!"

Somos recebidos com um sorriso amigável que se mantém durante todo o atendimento. Escolhemos tapas para uma pequena degustação. O que não esperávamos era a descoberta de sabores tão incríveis a um preço tão acessível. O que seria uma mera degustação tornou se numa experiência interminável. De destacar o gelado de vinho do Porto, exclusivo da casa. A par disso, neste local provamos o melhor café de São Martinho do Porto. Não hesitarei em voltar."

"Would recommend this restaurant if want a cheap tasty snack but are not in a hurry. We asked for the bill 3 times. Very busy evening with just 2 waiting staff who were doing there best. My advice to the owner get some more staff...!!!"

"Garlic bread had an intersting twist...delicious. We had 2 pasta dishes, fettucine carbonara and fusili, both of which were excellent. But the best part was our waiter, Fabio. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny. We wish we were in Sao Martinho a few more days so we could...go back again."
