"We had a terrible meal and experience in Maude. We came to friends who were many times before and they were so disappointed. The meal was mostly not good. There were a few courses that were acceptable, but not great. We ordered the reserve wine pairing and we were served two wines that had become bad and the sommelier did as if it were not a big deal. The service was also not acceptable. They rushed us through our meal and poured our wine faster than we could drink it. At one point I had lined 4 glasses because they pour so fast and serve our courses so quickly. They wanted to get us out as soon as possible. We have dined at Singlethread, Per Se, The French Laundry Salon and many other restaurants like Maude and we always had a great time. This meal was an expensive catastrophe. I tried to call the restaurant and send the manager by email and they never returned my phone calls or emails. I think they put their attention on the new restaurant Gwen. Please don't waste your time or money."

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"Always good food with a nice presentation. We ate outside on a cozy early summer evening. We started by ordering mussels (not as spicy as shown and very good) and the spinach salad with fried oysters - all excellent. The main courses of pork chop and duck were well prepared. The chard with tiny pieces of bacon with the duck was a nice change. The cherry compote was a bit overwhelming. Tried the Bonarda red wine (usually matured in stainless steel so that it lacked the soft, fruity taste), but returned to a reliable Malbec. Had a server in training that did a good job; Her mentor didn't smile much, which was disappointing. Overall, a pleasant meal."
