"A very good dining experience. Lovely ambience for intimate dining or more casual in the bar area. We had wonderful service from Jessica attentive but discreet. The mains menu is not large (1 of: vegetarian, fish, pork, lamb or beef). We shared a couple of starters on a board everything was delicious. Perfect timing between our starter and mains coming out. The mains were cooked perfectly and full of flavour, prepared with love. The most extensive wine stock I have ever come across. First time in ages we have both left a restaurant and completely satisfied with the food and service."

"Enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant with 6 kids. Good menu range (including the kids menu). Gluten free options were awesome. The wait staff were extremely patient and friendly with the kids. Highly recommend a visit"

"Found this place while searching for a lunch spot for my wife, 8yo son and I, and it looked busy enough (everywhere is a bit quiet as it's a public holiday) so we dropped in for yum cha. <br/ <br/ Service was as expected at a Yum Cha, dishes came around fairly regularly and staff generally knew what they had on the tray. Everything we had (prawn dumplings, scallop dumplings, roast pork, fried squid, pan fried pork dumplings, BBQ pork buns, crispy fried chicken wings and custard buns) was of a good quality, the dumplings had plenty of filling and weren't greasy, the chicken wings were crunchy and golden. The squid however had a thick batter (like you might find at a fish and chip shop) and was a little tough.<br/ <br/ Some of the food wasn't as hot as it could have been, probably because it was brought on trays rather than steamboats, but it was certainly hot enough (ready to eat). Tea was topped up regularly and empty plates cleared.<br/ <br/ Having read some of the less favorable reviews, I wonder if we got lucky or if my expectations are simply not that high. But based on my experience I'd definitely return here for yum cha."

"Gourmet fish and chips!<br/ <br/ This fish and chip shop has a wonderful menu. You can choose to have your fish beer battered, panko crumbed, tempura battered, gluten-free battered or grilled and you can have hand cut Agria chips,crinkle cut chips, beer battered chips, kumara chips or curly fries. There are several house salads and sides on offer or you can select something from their burger/sandwich menu. We opted to have grilled tarakihi and trevally, hand cut Agria chips and a coleslaw. It was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented and quite reasonably priced too."

"Popular, cosy restaurant in the suburbs with great service. The food was variable, some was excellent while we found ourselves wanting salt and pepper for the mains. So mixed feelings about the restaurant."

"Great place for excellent craft beers made in-house as well as many made by other brewers. We enjoyed two of their hazy IPAs along with yummy fish and chips and an order of cheese garlic toast. Bartenders are friendly and quick, and while the food took a few minutes, it was worth it."

"Beautiful location at Wellington waterfront. White bait fritter was nice, small size over $20 and the big size for $48.00. The place was busy but the service was not that organized. My friend had to ask twice for her salad and she finally received it after all our meal so she ate the salad by itself. The salad was like drowning in a salad dressing and was not a good presentation. The place was busy and apart from this, I love the atmosphere and the view over to the ocean. I want to go again to have more white baits. My friend had the Pork belly and she thoroughly enjoyed it."

"We had a great time here, went on a Sunday night so it was relatively quite. Service was good and we weren't waiting long to receive our meals. We could barely finish the desert as we were so full. My only complaint is we had trouble contacting them over the phone and had to book online. Not a big deal in the end..."

"My daughter and I had an excellent meal. Oysters were fresh and juicy. The bruschetta with goats cheese was different but tasty. The star of the evening though was the Lamb shoulder, tender and juicy. Would have given them 5 stars if I had got my pre dinner drinks on time (they arrived after my mains had been served). The manager did offer us a hefty discount to make up for it. But I’d have really enjoyed a nice glass of NZ wine with my meal."
