"I fought here for an early dinner. it is a very small restaurant, only 4-5 tables. we ordered as appetizers papaya salat and crispy dese salat, for all we had spicy udon meeres fruit and meeresbass for the day. as dessert homemade mango ice cream. everything tasted freshly delicious. the waitress was very friendly and attentive."

"The T. A. average rating of 4.5 is correct: certainly a solid 4 . Looked in for a light lunch (sandwich), not on offer; so came back in the evening for dinner, very good food value. Had homemade lasagna and tasty duck pheasant pie, with lots of fresh veg. Excellent friendly service, cosy ambience. One oddity: doesn't at least, last Sat. night didn't serve wine by the glass, only the bottle. Reasonable parking space. Recommended."

"A small ?20 covers) on the B4348 in the centre of the village of Peterchurch. Very good beef and Yorkshire for Sunday lunch. Generous helpings. Fair prices, and that includes the wine list. Charming service headed by Sarah in the kitchen with husband Steve out front."

"Booked a table at short notice. Warm reception from staff. Chose a table in restaurant area. Very chilly with the door open. A few other tables taken. Starters were good. Beetroot platter for my partner was lovely, my Cauliflower Cheese soup was good. Mains were a disappointment. My sole and “punched” potatoes was mediocre, the potatoes overcooked, almost black. My partners duck was overcooked and very dry. The Cassoulet was tasteless, and again overcooked. Side order of chips were overcooked again, looked reheated. Didn’t stop for puddings. Service was good, would prefer if staff wore masks."

"Amazing food and excellent service!! We went for a meal last night and can’t fault it. The service was excellent right from the moment we walked in, the staff really look after you. The food was incredible, the beef was cooked to perfection and the flavours were great, the apple desert was so good we ordered it again to share"
