"We spent a great evening in the bar with the owner who has travelled the world in a previous life and speaks fluent English. The place has a menu of over 320 beers, predominantly Belgian or German in style and the bar is incredibly friendly. Obviously they do other drinks too but you wont need them as there is a beer for every lady or gent!! The owner also has a shop in a nearby village specialising in strong beers. What a suprise to discover! A really memorable overnight stay that made our holiday."

"We feel this is the best restaurant in the town of Pont-en-Royans (although there are other good options if you are willing to drive to other nearby towns like St Marcellin or St Laurent en Royans). The plates are copius and they make an effort...to use local products. The cheese plates and gratin dauphinois are delicious. The vegetable flans are not great. They do a good job with trout, the local specialty, but the lamb tagine with ravioles is also good. It would be nice if the menu changed a bit more frequently (say every season). Certainly worth a visit for tourists."

"En famille à 4, nous avons déjeuné dans cet hôtel restaurant avec piscine (interdite pendant le service... dommage). Pour commencer nous avons attendu très longtemps avant d'être servis, de plus la patronne est aimable comme une porte de prison. Ce qui est arrivé dans nos assiettes était plutôt bon, mais le reste terni l'impression général. 70€ à 4 dont deux menus enfants, encore plus dur à avaler que le reste. Je déconseille..."
