"Attention: First visit (I have vacations First, it is said that Web Christel is not the internet specialist of the German mail, but web is derived from webs because the restaurant is housed in an old weaving shop. The house was built in 1937 and offers a maximum of 75 guests under Reet Square. It is located on a busy road and has a cruel parking situation. The restaurant includes seven places, and all around is a ban on holding up to three places. We had calculated abundantly and drove 10 minutes before our reserved time past the house for the first time and still came five minutes too late. I was glad to have trained the fast backward driving only after mirrors in my time as a professional driver. The first greeting in the restaurant was routined like the accompaniment to the table. Then there the cordiality set on the part of three young ladies who cared for us this evening. We sat in a side room on a bare wooden table without ceiling. The blossom-white napkins were well strengthened. On the table a rose in a square glass vase and a Maxi tea light in a glass container with fine gravel and mussels. Salt and pepper mill were not missing. The walls are absolutely full with watercolours of different sizes. The room ceiling is worn by tender green painted beams (see picture . Decorated the room was still with a collection of ceramic night pots, close to the ceiling on a long board (see picture . My wife sat on a padded wall bench, I on a wooden chair like this. The distance to the neighboring table was pleasant as the noise level. The menus were quickly handed over to us and a wine card was placed. Without having time to ask, we ordered two glasses of Lanson Black Label (9.50 , which was quickly and perfectly tempered. A bottle of Magnus was added to the table, which was placed cold but without a cooler. Appetizers: My wife chose the field salad with bacon and croutons (9th , I chose the tomatoes avocado salad with calf liver stripes (13.50 ), although the daily offer, charmingly presented on a large table at the table, was quite tempting. "In general, motivated by the good reviews, by my love for Thai cuisine and by the westernerland border, we controlled the previously reserved SIAM on a beautiful sunny evening. The location outside the tourist mile is always important to me, not too much to fall into the holiday snacks of so many restaurants. And so the SIAM is far from the shot near the Sylter Aquarium. Parking is available in front of the house and in the nearby parking lot of the aquarium. From the outside you can immerse yourself in a cozy, taland-like restaurant. Although we had reserved a table, we could choose a place outside the terrace or in the restaurant. We chose a small, bambuseing niche with a table. We were among us, but had a good overview of the events at the restaurant. Step by step the restaurant was full and a phone order followed the other. The kitchen had a lot to do. Reserves seem to be appropriate here, given popularity. At the entrance we were welcomed by the host nicely and had still free table choice. In the evening we were served by a Thai service in costume friendly, beautiful and precise, always changing a few words. Everything seems very playful, but not invaded and the cordiality of the inn was great for our little son. On the way to the outside we were then kindly handed over by the host Roberto and with a chat. Even if I rarely forgive an outstanding, it must be here again. It's like I wish. Kindness from beginning to end paired with beautiful presence of the host. My son would say at that time, behold, go! Food The map offers everything about Thai classics. For the junior we ordered fried noodles with egg and chicken for 7,20€, for the Mama Massaman Gai for 14,50€ and for Papa Gäng Keow Wan with chicken at 13,80€. Sylter Selter 0,75l at 5,50€, mango juice o,25l at 2,80€ and 0.4l Veltins at 3,70€. As an appetizer still the classic, Sate Spieße with peanut sauce for 7,50€. So expensive ok, although the curry prices are higher than normal filled. Westerland only, increased price level where you are looking. The 4 seed tips were quite large and equipped with well marinated chicken. There was a small cucumber salad and a cabbage. In a small bowl then the highlight, the homemade peanut sauce. Very delicious and recommended. No pampa, but not too little peanuts. The proportion of noodles with egg and chicken was plentiful and so my son fought courageously. Tasteful for me not the very big throw, but OK. The Massaman Gai, i.e. the chicken in coconut milk with potatoes, peanuts and chili and mostly Massaman spice paste was also very abundant. Together with the rice for my better half do not make it. Nonetheless, a fine, well lubricated Thai dish. My Gäng Keow Wan, so my green coconut milk curry with chicken green vegetables, bamboo and chili also came to the table in considerable size. I had high expectations of the court, so I ate this court all over the world and especially in Thailand. Only very rarely do the currys remember Thailand. I'm sorry. The sharpness was too low, which is certainly due to German guests, the curry was quite pampered and very sweet. Taste not as it should be. Too bad, not quite my expectation, but Meckern was not yet appropriate. A dessert no longer went due to the large portions, but Cappuchino was still €2.60. Very pleasant to the low price, because in Westerland there is hardly less than 3€. Even more pleasant, but the great quality. Often order a cappuchino in the restaurant for it and often it is not worthy. Be it because the milk is not well foamed or because what is used as espresso is bad/bad quality. Not like this Thai country. In addition to the counter, there is a huge Italian coffee machine as she wants Somanch Barisa. Environment The elongated restaurant with a slightly overloaded vase at the EIngang, is rear very thaland/ asian, a lot of bamboo, figures, pictures etc radiate cosiness. Especially our separate seating area is pleasant. In the outdoor area there is a small veranda with some tables and parasols. Cleanliness Everything in everything is good. Clean and well maintained. The dishes and glasses in good condition. Nothing that seemed negative. FAZIT: Friendly staff, good procedures, an ingenious Cappccino and good food let me consider the restaurant as a recommendation. Although the weakness in a green curry reads a little disappointment. Overall, however, everything and a return does not fit. So a recommendation on my part."

"Came in after having reserved a table and confirmed it some time ago. No one called to reconfirm so thought our table was set. We got there at reservation was at and mentioned that we had a reservation at oclock. The gentleman...rudely responds that it isnt possible that we gave a reservation at because it isnt possible to reserve for that time ?!. We have the original email and the reponse that they do not take reaervations via email as well as the phone call record that shows we called the place to confirm. I guess someone of higher importance needed our table...seems to be common on the very pretentious Sylt where it is important to show one has money even when most dont"
