"The atmosphere in there is lovely and food was flavoursome. Unfortunately we both found an inch long piece of stick or bone in our mouths from one of the dishes. Really poor show especially in this level of establishment, we got a small apology before being stung with a £450 bill. The wine flight portions were tiny at 100ml and worked out at nearly £20 a glass, I would of thought twice if I’d known this, none of that is explained on the menu and not what we are used to when purchasing a wine flight. I found the staff poor, they mumbled through what the dishes were so couldn’t understand what they were saying, its part of the theatre of it and generally seemed very poorly trained. To top it all off the next day I had a very upset stomach. Poor service at times (stick in food, mumbling, no eye contact, staff scruffy) poor value for money, I would not return. Such a shame as I had really been looking forward to it. Not the treat I was expecting."

"It is one of the hidden gems of the city. one of my favorite places to have ingenious sushi with very cozy ambiente, a possibility to sit with folded beinen, have this beautiful warm evening with their favorite or friends. if they were lucky to be served by samantha, not only would their day be made, but kurumaya will also be their favourite place."

"I don't eat steak anymore. I tend to prefer more slowly cut. a part of me also thinks that I can cook a decent steak home, just buy from an excellent quality source. my last steak election was extraordinary. I had two experiences in hawksmoor, first for steak, where no properly cooked"
