"Astoundingly good. Half the menu being vegetarian is so welcome and my god the food was incredible. The Hanoi Fish, the vegan scallops and even the simple noodles were just delicious but also looked beautiful on the plate. Don 't be deceived by the small plates they are massive but you 'll want to eat everything and come back for more. I may have to sell my children and move to Islington just so I can eat here again."

"When I was on a British tour with my parents, I decided to try this place. the food was best average, but what really was skating me was the service. the waiter hit the menu on our table and then gave us only two glasses water when we were actually six. I hope that not all Indian restaurants in Great Britain are so because the dings are actually very different to houses."

"I was suprised to get a Patara Fine Thai Cuisine card and find out that there are four of these suckers in London. I have been dining at the Fulham Road one for quite a while now and am almost reluctant to review it. It is hard enough to get a table already! But my loyalty to TrustedPlaces wins out. This is a winner. So tasty it hurts. It is not cheap, so this is a treat but boy can they do Thai food. Just writing this review makes my mouth water.The ingredients are a cut above any other Thai restaurant I have eaten at and hint at what the real Mccoy is like...Patara are maestros. There is not much point me going through different dishes as there are too many to mention and I will not do them justice.The time before last the person I was dining with spotted an ex-James Bond drinking a Martini with whilst waiting for his take-away. I didn't look around to see whether this was just a wind up but somehow I suspect not."
