"Great hole in the wall in a sketchy part of town. Though not the best Pho I've had, it's still pretty good and authentic. $16 per bowl is a little pricey but the portions are large and they don't skimp on the meat/veggies. The beef was really tender. The grilled pork bahn mi was also delicious. Would go back if I ever come back to Amarillo."

"Went to the location on Georgia today at 12:20 in the afternoon. I always check my food when stopping here because they never impress me. It's always something, well today once I opened my box of food there was a hair right next to the orange chicken. I yold the lady I didn't want it because of that, she looks at me and says we wear hair nets. Apparently not if there is hair in my food, I parked and went in because this is not acceptable, no apology nothing. When I went inside., None of them had on hair nets, so she lied. This place will never get my business, next stop is the health department"

"I don't like to publish reviews that are anything but positiw, but I wish someone had taken me away. we travel along i40 and there are not many good options for us on this stretch, but I wish I had taco bell or chipotle eaten over this place. eating is exceptionally fat and bland and really scarcely under moderate quality. we are not the target customers. only fyi."

"We absolutely loved our dinner at OHMS. We were visiting Amarillo for a couple of days and staying at the Barfield downtown. I researched dinner spots and this place seemed to be the best choice. It was exactly the right choice. I called about two weeks ahead and was able to get reservations at the time we wanted. We started with cocktails. They were both good but the bourbon old fashioned was better than the gin cocktail. And the old fashioned here was better than a similar drink at the Paramount Recreation Club next door, the Speakeasy in the basement of the Barfield that you gain entry by buying Paramount cigarettes from an antique machine (suddenly the door behind you opens and voila you 're in). Back to the main story... For appetizer we shared a special of the night, the crab cakes. They were perfectly seared and they were bursting with crabmeat. Spiced just right. And the accompanying sauce, we wanted to lick the plate clean. They were really good. For the mains, one of us had Elk and the other had Chicken. The Elk, recommended medium rare, was oh so tender and moist. The local mushrooms that accompanied were worthy of their own dish. The risotto at the bottom was also good. Unfortunately the photo doesn 't show a dish as delicious as it was. We were surprised a little that the Elk wasn 't more gamey tasting. It 's not a bad thing, just was a surprise. The chicken was also outstanding. Crunchy and moist. The asparagus was firm but tender, and the mashed potatoes were excellent. I must say it could have used a little more gravy as all that gravy was gone a bit before the chicken was. But then i am a sauce guy. No room for dessert. Would love to visit for dinner again! "Ly’s Cafe is one of the best Thai joints in Amarillo and I have patronized many. The atmosphere is very casual, but the food is very flavorful and plentiful. We had a variety of noodle and rice dishes and sampled egg rolls and summer rolls. We ordered water cups to drink with our food and even that must have been filtered because it certainly wasn’t Amarillo tap water. (We didn’t even have to ask for limes or lemons to squeeze into it). If I had any complaints, it would be that the sweet and sour sauce and the peanut sauce are thinner compared to all other Thai places I have been to."

"The chicken fried chicken was delicious and the filled burger too! We were thrilled to eat the steak we had seen photos of the reviews, but it is no longer on the menu. Fun bar atmosphere. The kitchen ran back when we left and the bathrooms needed cleaning."
