"There was a very professional waiter at this place. He gave excellent advice about my gluten free choices, the choice of wine with a particular meal and which desserts were gluten free... He was friendly, had a good sense of humour and yet was professional. The food was excellent a Dorada freshly caught and prepared potatoes in olive oil and vegetables.... Unfortunately the fish soup contained gluten and the alternative vegetable soup was, to my taste, a little bland.... Some of the desserts looked great although I could only have the fresh fruit salad, which was nice; some fruit sauce, yoghurt, cream, or ice cream, with it would have been better. However all things considered it was a very nice meal and a pleasant evening. There were a few couples and families with children which the restaurant caters for very well."

"A good place to have a coffee or a sandwich. It is well priced (I come from Porto/Gaia prices). The service was very friendly but there was only one girl, with the place full it could be a problem. It hasn't been for me."

"It was a bit confusing to order and the flavors were a bit too strong. I still didn't end up with what I wanted and had to pay extra for a drinks (other places include drinks and coffee). It was more expensive and I just didn't feel satisfied."

"Walked from the main Aveiro Train station to the river front to snap photos. Spotted this cafe right in front of the river and walked in to take a break. The lady was super friendly and spoke good English. A Nata and a croissant with a cup of latte... Fantastic! All for only less than 3 euros! Note the croissant here is very filling (different from the kind I eat in Canada which is mostly air). This croissant is tasty but it's kinda like bread so it feels you up a lot!"
