"We popped in here today after walking around Bergerac to feed some hungry kids as we'd promised them a crepe in return, the restaurant has indoor seating and a nice little terrace on the side where we sat. There is a great selection of crepes...available from the usual sweet ones we are used too along with some savoury ones. We all opted for four sweet crepes and along with two coffees and two apple juices it came too euros. The table next to us went for the savoury type and they had what looked like ham, cheese and egg...given the chance I'd have given them a try as they looked lovely! The service was very friendly and welcoming and it was a very pleasant little lunch we all enjoyed. If you are in Bergerac and fancy a crepe then head here and you will not be disappointed!"

"On a walkabout in Bergerac we came across this Creperie, and seeing it was busy, decided to try it. As the terrace was full, we sat inside. Immediately we were given menus, and we selected a pancake with strawberries,maple syrup, Chantilly cream ice cream, and a galette de sarrasin filled with mushrooms, cheese and ham. Both were delicious, so we had to have an extra wine. We enjoyed it so much we returned a few days later to have another strawberry pancake and this time a mango pancake with mango, mango ice cream, chocolate sauce Chantilly cream. This time we had a cider and a wine. Again they were excellent. The service was very good and the staff were very pleasant."

"A real gem! We booked for a party of 13 and sampled nearly every item on the menu. The food was outstanding, both in taste and presentation. They have a solid wine selection. Service started off slow but picked up nicely, becoming warm and personable. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for local yet upscale cuisine. I’m eager to return on my next visit to the region."

"We know Bergerac pretty much inside out, and have often enjoyed a drink outside the Riche. The thing is, you can always get a table, and will very often be the only people there. The façade tells a story of faded glory, and the interior is from another world, a seventies renovation of a grand belle epoque saloon. The owner is affable, approachable, always impeccably presented in traditional service attire, and the waiter is helpful, friendly getting on a bit, with a commitment to service to match. The low-key, rather fusty image seems to discourage people looking for a good lunch, but the reticence is massively misplaced. It's a fabulous find! Last week We ate here for the first time; The menu is small, hyper-traditional and appears to be good value. However, when the food arrives, it's a genuine almighty surprise, almost gourmet in presentation and absolutely delicious! Duck breast or leg, entrecote, toulouse sausages or salad, presented to perfection. Desserts are crême brulée or cheeses, all excellent. France is losing all its traditional gems like this, being replaced by ghastly poke bars and super-expensive vegetarian flannel where you get right-on politics served with your spiralised quinoa. Give all that a miss, have a lovely steak frites and a jug of wine at Café le Riche, Bergerac's best kept secret!"
