"It's an old school lunch bar / cafe type place....the coffee isn't the best....but the bacon n egg rolls are right up there. $5.5o with cheese...one of the best bacon n egg rolls around. Rest of the food looks homemade and pretty cheap for the area."

"Had the Worst chicken pad see ew here. Had 1 mouth full and went back to asked for it to be cooked for longer. When I received it back it was hotter but the noodles were white and had no flavour. Threw the whole thing in the bin. Absolute waste of money! Would not recommend"

"I needed a quick (solo) dinner on a business trip. I was staying nearby so stumbled into That Hai. It's quite small but friendly. The meal was OK and good value for money. Not sure I would return necessarily though as I there are lots of options around."

"I should have checked the rating and reviews on here beforehand. It was a chilly midday, I felt like a hearty soup so went with their spicy soup. It was incredibly sugary for what it was and lacked ingredients. I was utterly disappointed."

"New wraps on offer and had to try them! The vegetarian one with rice sticks (which is Gnocchi-like in texture) and red sauce sounds good but the Japanese Karaage with terrayaki kewpie sauce won the choice and delivered more than i expected. Meaty hearty and packed with salad! Good addition to the crown jewels of crepe and wraps you have King griddle!"

"Who's the lucky girl being taken to Kensington Street Social for Mother's Day brunch! Wanted to come here for a long time and didn't even mention it to anyone! Love the conversion of the derelict warehouse into this shiny, textured smart brasserie. Started with two flatbreads....a hot smoked salmon and a vegetable sourdough flatbread to get the ball rolling! Mmm, tasty... next! Hiramisa Kingfish tataki w pickled kohlrabi, kale togarashi ($19). A visually beautiful plate and the delicate white kohlrabi hinted at the sails of the Sydney Opera House! Really enjoyed all the fresh flavours and herbs combined into this very satisfying dish. For mains: the Hapuka w spiced lentils, the Angus rib eye w fried egg and chips and the Roast Porchetta w all the trimmings were all good choices. In terms of portion sizes and the "wow" factor, the pork was probably twice the size with glistening crackling and rosemary tatties which led to major food envy from a certain diner! Gotta love family! On the way out I was invited to choose some sweet treats from a petit four/dessert cart and had them boxed up as a Mother's Day take home treat! A very nice touch to another lovely, family brunch!"

"Finally managed to check this place out! Make sure you book beforehand, this place is popular. The smoked beef ribs and the beef tartare were super delicious! We tried the sausage as well which was very tasty too. The asparagus came with amazing sauce! Definitely recommend this place. Service was lovely too!"
