"We visited Tesco Cafe on our way down South to visit some relatives and what a find! It's not like generic supermarket cafes regarding the service. The staff genuinely care and are a real credit to the hospitality trade. The menu is what you'd expect for a supermarket cafe but cooked really well. Definitely worth popping in"

"Excellent service, friendly staff, however we go to this pub on occasions, but this time the meal was not great. we ordered chiken burger which we always have, but this time it came without hash brown in it and too much barbeque sauce, and limited chips, maybe a different chef ? but still missing items not good."

"Anniversary dinner with my girlfriend. It was beautiful. I took a star off for ambience as it was a touch on the old fashioned traditional dining for me, ie a bit quiet and formal. But really high class in terms of venue, food and service. Prices are fully in line or even a shade over London which I felt was a little much but not enough to spoil the evening."

"We visited here twice on our Mini moon, perfect for a nice quiet breakfast or coffee in the back gardens. Variety of brownie flavours , I wouldn’t agree they are the best though nice but not the best."

"We recently spent a family meal at The Fox, what a wonderful place; beautiful setting and a lovely atmosphere. However having ordered meals for Children’s starters and then mains, the Children’s main meal was brought out before anyone including the children had received their starter. That wasn’t a problem to us, we let the waiter know they hadn’t had their starters but what was the problem was the rudeness of two members of staff (one of whom seemed to be the manageress!! although it was unclear if that was her position) she eye rolled directly at us as though we were causing her a problem for simply asking for a starter to be brought before a main! Never in my life have I ever experienced such rude service, everything was a problem for her. She should not be working in hospitality with an attitude like that. We felt as though our simply being there was a major issue for her. She spoilt the whole meal for us, which is so sad as the young girls who also served us and the male senior member of staff were charming. We simply ate our mains and left and would not be paying the £64 service charge expected after the worse service we have had in our lives! A real shame as we love The Wild Rabbit and Daylesford but will not return to have eyes rolled at us for simply requesting that a starter was brought out before a main!!!! Finally to point out as a dog lover myself there is a time and a place for them, and sat at a dinner table on their owners knees where people are going to eat their meals and barking constantly in a restaurant is not one of them! I’m not sure how this is hygienic in any way."

"We stopped for lunch when exploring the gardens. The menu offered a good selection of hot meals and all looked nice and home cooked. The chicken one pot was full of fresh veg, the baked potato was lovely and fluffy and the egg mayo rolls was a generous portion. Ordering is a little confusing as the tills are in a small space so people tend to mingle rather than queue. Service was swift and overall we were impressed."

"We stayed at Fosse Manor on Thursday and decided to eat in the restaurant, we were seated at our table and asked straight away if we knew what we wanted to drink or whether we wanted to look at the wine menu, whilst we decided they bought us over a jug of water without us requesting it. We were offered a choice of 3 different types of bread which were large chunky pieces and we were offered more if we wanted any, I ordered the ceasar salad for starter and my husband had the home made chicken liver pate which he said was the best he ever had, I had the chicken for mains which was with local vegetables and was cooked perfectly, my husband had the sirloin steak which he requested to be cooked medium (it is rare to find anywhere that cooks a steak how he likes it but they did), he was even raving about how good the chips were, the only thing we could fault was it lacked a bit of atmosphere which could have been avoided if they had some background music. After we had finished we sat out in the gardens to finish our wine making a nice end to our evening."
