"Not one to publicly leave a bad review, especially for a new venue just starting out but so disappointed with this place. All the good reviews and hype had me very excited to try Ozen so I placed an order through JustEat but, reality was Baos were absolutely saturated in sauce they were soaked and soggy. The halloumi and prawns were tough to bite into it (frozen? and again you couldn’t taste anything but sauce. I thought the sticky wings might compensate abit but no, drenched in this overpowering salty sauce. Gutted as I had high hopes. 40 quid to throw it all in the bin after one bite."

"Atmospheric contemporary restaurant. Great to meet there for a coffee and a chat, a beer and a natter or a glass of wine and a catch up. For lunch try one of their fabulous burgers. Definitely the best in Edinburgh."

"Very pleasant experience with nice eating. the pumpkin ravioli, although a tad small in portion size, packed a considerable amount of taste. the pizzas were well made and not too cheesy. everything was well seasoned and service was also very good."

"Dined there on our first night in Edinburgh, after long drive up we felt it would be perfect to eat there and explore more the following days. It was absolutely delightful, the food was immaculately presented, fresh, flavoursome and out if this world, It was sparsely populated with most people in there enjoying a nice cocktail and a pint of Innes and Gunn. I would highly recommend the restaurant, I had the Prix Fixe menu with haggis spring rolls. cod loin and chocolate fondant. It was all incredible. Just one word of warning, the wife had a cocktail that nearly knocked her socks off, they are potent and full of booze."

"Eating with the angels (and with bagpipes).. Pure dinning experience, the atmosphere was really friendly and relaxed with a subtly hint of class. I was impressed with how staff swiftly dealt with some unruly drunken people who attempted to buy a pint or two who then became somewhat mouthy when they were refused due to lack of tables. Most important of all the food was really something special, presented like I have seen in Michelin star'd restaurants. It was however a little pricey a bottle of wine one starter, two mains and desserts was £100 with tip but well, well worth it for a treat."

"AMAZING CURRY FOR THE PRICE This place strikes me more as a takeaway place however it's very nice to sit in as well. Came for dinner at around 8pm on a Saturday and there were plenty of tables available. I got the meal deal for 1, which includes 4 pakoras, some poppadoms, and a curry of your choice with either rice or naan. I chose the Chicken Rogan Josh and it was pretty good. The service was extremely fast and the food was brought out within minutes. The server was also friendly and asked how the meal was. Would come back here if I wanted a curry that's fast, affordable and good quality!"
