"We were looking on the island wight on the search for eating on the Chinese site and this place had the best commentaries on the island. I could not be right anymore! my wife loves it; good eating, perfect service, but the most unexpected what I loved was. cutlery sealed in plastic bags with serviette and wet fabric for cleaning your hands! I saw tissue at some places, but not very often, but this combination was perfect! especially in these days. so highly recommended! go and try, you will not be disappointed!"

"It's wonderfully situated at the Duke of York Square. They have lots of seating outside and a few tables inside. The staff are friendly, polite and always have a smile on their face. It's a very welcoming place. The food is incredible. Their coffee is beyond delicious along with their mouth watering cakes. Lovely place to sit at and enjoy your coffee. It's a must for any foodie and coffee lover out there. I would highly recommend The Black Penny."

"I made several visits over the school holidays with my grandchildren. They loved it, food and ice creams went down a treat. The peacocks and hens strutting around were a bonus and the llamas putting in an appearance, looking over the fence at us. I think they fancied the ice creams hahaha."
