"Culantro is so cute. I’ve always wanted to go to Peru, but I figured I should try the food first! The food is great and the workers are so nice. Really enjoyed everything here. It’s a comfortable, home style restaurant. Every dish we ordered was delish! I would highly recommend the chicken sandwich (not pictured) and the Patacones Picantes. Would 1000% go back to try out more items."

"Great place if all you want is a basic bagel. Bagels are so good on their own but I always get the Vegan Special which is a bagel with cream cheese and fresh veggies on it. Veggies are always ripe and crisp and flavorful. They 're generous with the spreads and toppings. I reccomend the garlic bagel and rosemary bagel but all that I 've tried are great. Lines are always long on weekends so I reccomend ordering ahead of time online (which will likely have 1st availability for pickup an hour out). Kind of annoying that it 's time consuming for a bagel but... honestly still worth it. Usuallt fully staffed with all hands on deck, they are all nice and work hard to keep things efficient. I was impressed when I ordered in store last time as the worker put on a new pair of gloves and was meticulous while making my sandwich with care. Would definitely be better if we had some vegan egg/sausage/cheese type options but cream cheese will do for now. They also have fresh fruit cups, coffee, juices, kombuchas, etc. available for purchase."

"Today (3/22/2022) was sleep walks first day open for business and I was soou excited to see vegan options available to buy. flavor really hits the place on the golden breakfast sando. crispy tweepers and melt in their mouth vegan cheese with egg in English muffin! some of my employees enjoyed lunch today and have made reviews on the pommes, hashbrowns and big coffee."

"We tried to visit the flytrap cafe on the road, but they were unexpectedly closed this day. we tried bobcat bonnies since it was close. we arrived at 11:10, but the doors were still closed. we started reaching the Thai square next door when a server followed us down and said they were actually open at bbs. my partner and I ordered both the vegan chicken avocado sandwich (which American cheese really? instead we asked vegan Cheddar cheese. the sandwiches arrived, but the cheese was completely gone. in the interest of the time, I asked the waiter to bring only a separate plate with the vegan cheddar cheese on him what he did. bottom line: the sandwich was quite average. the aioli sauce was delicious, and the ingredients were fresh, but it was really nothing I could not have done at home."

"The French gourmet is an absolute jewel in Ferndale and Royal Oak! My wife and I came to brunch for the first time, and everything was phenomenal. I had the cubed vegetables à la Provençale egg white Omelet, and my wife had the strawberries Crêpes. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and plated and were exceptionally selectable. The restaurant itself may be small, but do not let the size fool you the quality is top notch."
