"I don’t know how this place has so many high reviews. I sat directly in front of the kitchen and as I looked in I saw the chef grabbing my chips with his hand putting them on the plate. There are so many other alternatives then doing that, really put me off my food ended up wasting $40 on everything and didn’t eat 25% of it. I do not recommend this place Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1"

"I’m definitely not a coffee aficionado, but I do know when a coffee doesn’t taste as good as ASB! And I’ve tried so many in the area and I just keep coming back to ASB religiously. I now don’t go anywhere else unless I’m out of the area and, begrudgingly, have to. I have no idea how they actually do it. It’s literally a work of art. It’s where my mouth goes to party. But also more than just coffee, Ben, Gi and the staff are so warm and welcoming and their friendly faces are life itself. If I ever move out of the area Apex will be one of the things I miss the most."

"If he can spend 10 minutes making a coffee then its not too much to ask for a tea to be made properly. No chance, it comes McDonalds style with tepid water and a tea bag on the side. He then has the nerve to tell me Australians like it that way. Don't bother with this place as there are plenty of other cafe's along the way all with much friendlier service and attitude. Zero stars and will never return here."

"Great food and good staff. I usually get the juice followed by the fritters with avocado and salmon. It's really good, but have noticed the salmon portion has gotten smaller within each visit...based on a months visit. Not sure what's going on there, but maybe a price adjustment should reflect the smaller portion."
