"I came across this place by accident on 12/24. as I was heading to get something to eat elsewhere. Just like the previous person who left a review, the you woman, I think her name is Shania, did listen to my order and just put whatever in my dish. I specifically said I want to vegetable of pumpkin, Channa and spinach rice. Why did she came back with regular spinach, okra, and pumpkin. I told her that was not what I ordered and she look at me like she shocked and didn’t know what to do. She then added Channa on top of the plate and still ask me if I want to keep the okra and spinach anyway. I’m not sure if had the ability to follow directions or listen to people. I was hungry and tired and kept the food anyway. For the vegetable plate, they charge $14!!!!!!! Meanwhile other places are far cheaper. The food did not taste like it should be $4 to be honest. The spinach and okra was greasy, the pumpkin and Channa was on a bland side. I’m glad that I didn’t get the Roti as it would be too much food for me to eat but I’m sure it would not make a difference. I should had read the reviews of this place before I ordered. That’s what happens when I give a new restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Not going back there!"

"This is probably the nicest McDonalds I have ever been in. Clean, modern, friendly. I don’t know why I was so surprised a place this nice was in Hempstead but it’s a nice change! Highly recommend!"

"FANTASTIC!!!!! I was not expecting to find this little gem in Hempstead, TX! But WOW!!!!!! The Mexican style shrimp cocktail was incredible. Spicy and delicious! Only downfall, wasn?t served with chips? which it should be. (Went next door to the convenientstore and got some lol) the egg rolls were on point. I got the Chicken Pho, absolutely amazing!!!!!! We also had the friedshrimp and fish. Delightful. But what made the show experience was the service from Presley. What a beautiful, bright ray ofsunshine. Happy, helpful, upbeat and knowledgeable about the menu. She made it a 5 star review. ??"

"Lost a 30+ year customer plus other customers related. I arrived right as they closed. Realizing I would not be able to make a purchase, I tried getting the attention of the employees plus owner to ask a question. They deliberately continued to ignore me. The level of friendliness and customer service has definitely changed. Every time I'm in town I make several visits to this location because it was a childhood favorite. I will not be returning here. 3 stars based"
