"If you want to try the Bandeja paisa (red beans cooked with pork, white rice, Carne molida (earth meat), Chicharrón, roasted egg, Plantain (plátano maduro), chorizo, black pudding (morcilla), avocado), this is the right place. The price is low and the amount astronomeric, there is... even a soup included in the meal. I think a meal is enough for two people!"

"El servicio es autoservicio así que en realidad no es su fuerte, el lugar es muy bonito, pero lo importante sin embargo la atención del personal es muy buena : la comida es deliciosa La carne, súper fresca , te preguntan a que terminó la quieres incluso, la barra de vegetales es un plus y lo que más me gustó es poder armar la hamburguesa a mi gusto Pedimos dos BBQ burger en combo uno con yucas y uno con aros de cebollaUna de 300 gramos y una de 450 gramos a la de 300 le pusimos adición de huevo La carne, el pan, el queso , todo es excelente , es definitivamente la mejor hamburguesa No dimensionanos el tamaño y pedimos unas alitas de entrada , las cuales estaban muy ricas y liberalmente picantes aunque las salsas (pedimos queso azul y salsa aparte ) estaban muy aguadas y algo simplesSobre el precio, no es precisamente económico, solo las hamburguesas costaron 104.000 Sin embargo la relación costo beneficio me parece buena, es decir vale la pena pagar por la calidad y la cantidad"

"Out of my dozen visits to Colombia, the speed of service for Calle 109 location of La Cesta is the slowest in my book. At every eatery I 've been to before this in Colombia, they usually take 20-30 minutes at most to get the food...to me since ordering. This one took 70 mins. My partner and I was somewhat in a hurry to catch our flights home, and I thought this would make a good choice for our last brunch in Bogota assuming food will take the typical 20-30 mins after ordering. However, it took so long that I recall even seeing few other diners seated and ordered their food after us but received their food before us. I try not to judge but I remember I was the only foreigner. The waiter serving our table was a guy with a shaved head. Even though my Spanish isn 't perfect, he apparently understood what I ordered enough to confirm without me even correcting it. My partner mentioned she noticed him keep stepping out without telling anyone. He forgot her order for a second glass of juice. Something about another server mentioned he forgot to place in our food order at all until we were giving the What the hell look at everyone. Berenjena parmigiana was so-so but definitely wouldn 't order it again. Roast beef and turkey sandwiches weren 't bad at all but even Subway tastes better. The real winner was the starter my partner ordered which was scrambled eggs with tomatoes and ham. Waiting 70 mins for our food was so ridiculous that it costed us our flights back home. How badly you may ask? After paying to rebook my partner 's flight home (fortunately she 's a Colombian national) by a couple hours late, rebook my return flight to USA to the next morning, book an extra night at a hotel in Bogotá, along with logistical costs, it costed me about $400. If you have all the time in the world, by all means do check out La Cesta 109 's menu. But if you feel any sense of tight schedule at all, I strongly advise you to avoid this restaurant and eat somewhere else like McDonald 's, Subway, Burker King, El Corral, Presto, etc. in order to save yourself from a potentially costly logistical nightmare."

"Great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have come here several times, and we really enjoy the service. Food is excellent and nice variety of dishes to choose from. You can also buy bread and croissant and pain ay chocolate. Great price versus quality."
