"Let me start by saying that I have been enjoying Mali Thai Bistro for many years now. It is a staple of Lee's Summit and my wife and I spend many meals here. Tonight's order was totally underwhelming unfortunately. My wife ordered a chicken Panang Curry, which was still delicious. I ordered a Chicken Pad Ka Prao, which you guessed it, still delicious. That said, we only received one order of rice to split between the two orders. It was a laughable portion to have to share. Another sad, but potentially isolated event, was the state of our crab Rangoon. The usual light, creamy filling was nothing special this time. Just a generic crab Rangoon. It was wrapped in an unusual fried, puffy dough (see photo). We were very let down by their appearance and taste. All of this to say that we spent over $40 for a very mediocre presentation and taste. Will give it another try as this could be an isolated event, but I'm a little skeptical at this point."

"The main reason for my 2 star review is that the restaurant is forcing customers to give tips and if you don?t like i did, they look at you with disgust like you have committed a crime. The food wasn?t the best either. I tried the chicken pho and although the soup was good, it was lacking greens and the chicken it self is very overcooked and hard to chew. Thankfully they do provide greens on the side in a salad bar style. Drinks were not good either, they use a soda machine and the coke in it tastes like diet coke for some reason. Bad experience overall and I don?t recommend this place."

"Eating and our server, jake, was amazing. he had many suggestions for us, he was also very attentive. my friend has the West Coast Omelette that was beautiful. I've got the crab benedikt? real crab inside with andouille sausage. goer sues hollandaise sauce is on point. we also tried their seasonal pumpkin pancakes and their sweet/spicy maissuppe, both were fantastic. 10/10 recommend."

"Why is this place still in business? they are never open and all reviews obviously speak this problem to the owner of the company, but no one has fixed the problem. How do I apply for this job and will never be paid for work? I am sure that the managers and owners get compensation and absolutely have nothing to do to help the customers"
