"My last visit to Abergavenny was a year ago and then I had a very good meal in the Market Cafe. Today it was closed and so, looking in close proximity to it, I found Legends Cafe. Well! Am I glad I did! I ordered ham, egg and chips with a cup of tea. The portion size was impressive and the quality was second to none, the tea tasted great and was in a decent sized mug and the customer service was brilliant. And all at a very reasonable price! It was certainly a place with a welcoming atmosphere which, as a single customer, was appreciated. What particularly struck me was the care exhibited by the waitress to an elderly gentleman in the corner. It's not often you see such an exemplary standard. I am definitely going to return."

"Went here for lunch absolutely amazing food! I usually struggle to find one thing on the menu but here I was struggling to decide between 5 meals! I eventually decided on the beef madras from the specials board which was absolutely lovely. My husband had the home made faggots which he said were the best he’s ever had! Also the homemade carrot and corriander soup for starter was really really good! Also good choice of lager and beers. Will be visiting again! Staff very friendly and informative of the menu as well as quick service."

"Me and my partner stayed over on a Friday and Saturday evening in September They were very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Great breakfast and rooms were comfortable, the price was reasonable too. Break to feel looked...after by local people. Would recommend highly."

"Arrived here at to be told that it shuts in minutes and every is finished Luckily there was a cheese sandwich left. Perhaps the don’t expect people arriving on train here, The seating area was nice and had fee Wi-fi"

"For good food at fair prices you'll be hard pressed to beat Pye Corner.Tucked away in a secluded little area in Chepstow, just a stones throw from Lloyds bank, Pye corner is a family friendly little eaterie that offers great nosh at realistic prices. Eat outside in fair weather or head inside for a cosy for a guaranteed warm welcome. Paninis are delicious and under a fiver, our favourite is the cranberry, brie and bacon! We're also a fan of their ham, egg and chips. The lovely waitresses are always pleased to see you and it's service with a smile."

"Heading to a business meeting I decided I had just enough time for a sausage sandwich. What a good choice I made. Lovely bread. Great sausages and an amazing welcome.
