"We traveled to the mount barker area and were told by a few that their parents always drove hours to visit the famous bakery. that fascinated us. when we were in the opposite side of Christmas, we had to wait for the opening. wow was worth it, we camp for the trip back to perth. two rolls and two cakes. the sausage rolls were the best I ever had and a meal in itself with delicious fluffy pastries, the cake filled with beautiful gravy and delicate meat."

"This place has a great name and great staff :) It's a happy cafe with happy staff and very good honest food. Went there for breakie on a Sunday. Ordered 4 big breakie was very nice! The eggs were so yummy and yellow I wished we could get these quality eggs in Perth!"

"We decided on beef burger with a serve of fries and supremo pizza. Burger was nicely presented, tasted great....but don’t forget to look for the specialty chutney. This seals the deal. Fries were crisp...kids will love these. Wood oven pizza was well topped and...delicious. Staff pleasant and friendly"

"A very enjoyable experience.<br/ <br/ This place cops a bit of stick in the review-a-sphere, but we only saw this once we had finished our meals. Based on our experience, the criticism seems misplaced. However, we will certainly be returning to test if they can replicate their good work (probably for dinner).<br/ <br/ We turned up on a whim, not knowing where we might be able to share a light meal and get a good coffee in Mt Barker. The place was very busy. <br/ <br/ The staff were warm, welcoming, and even though they were clearly under the pump, attentive. The staff member we spoke to found us a nice seat, and worked out (spookily without us really having to say anything) that we wanted to share a breakfast. <br/ <br/ We ordered (they were efficient and polite) and we didn’t have to wait long for the food. The poached eggs were perfect and delivered with a smile and a sharing plate. The coffee was very good too. I asked for a double shot and received it (rather than the over-extracted single shot that too many places pass off for a double). <br/ <br/ We watched the staff buzz around, politely and efficiently handling a large crowd. It was a pleasure to watch.<br/ <br/ In short, nice atmosphere, very good coffee, great food and excellent staff."
