"The North Sydney outlet is the original Little Vienna sandwich shop which has subsequently spawned four or five more in the CBD. Sandwiches here are generous and there's a wide range of options whether it's poached chicken, schnitzel, rare roast beef, vegetarian, rissoles, sausages, leg ham, tuna or salmon. Of course they'll freshly make the sandwiches for you, or there's some pre-made wrapped in foil ready to go if you're in a hurry. Normally a queue at lunch time, but it's worth the wait. Been coming here for close to 15 years."

"Have been going to Cibo for a few years now and it is consistently good. Perfect for a quick, well-priced home-style breakfast. Liked the option of wholemeal brown sourdough toast! Good hot strong coffee and tea of your choice. Staff are always very friendly and efficient. Daily newspapers available."

"Not sure why this place has such low reviews but my pasta was quite good. I can see that they are pre made so it may not be freshly made to order as they heat it up for you when you order. But my pasta was still creamy and filling. I got the creamy chicken pasta with spinach and mushrooms."

"So happy to have another great cafe in North Sydney. Dan's Cafe and Bar is in the old 'Rusty's' spot at 5 Ridge St North Sydney. The coffee is strong and pretty consistent (thanks to Dan) and the menu is a good combination of light snacks and some serious 'house made' dishes coming from the kitchen (Cheesy Chorizo, Avocado and Egg Roll, house made burger mince and cheddar rolls, and Bacon, Tomato and Mushroom Quiche). The staff are friendly including barista Dan who pumps out quick and strong coffees. Happy to have them in the neighbourhood. Welcome!

"On a cold Monday morning when I woke up tired and zagged the only thing that went on my head was a potent coffee to catch me. When I took the first swallow from the coffee I got from baileys, I felt immediately disappointed. it was burned. I'm not a coffee snob that needs certain coffee beans, but I know what I like and not. at $3.8 for a regular coffee, I would expect a little better than the cup I had loaded from this. wonder if they deserve a second chance or should I reduce my losses?"

"I have gluten-free avocado toast this morning and it was really terrible. the avocado voice was extremely stingy with about one tip of what can only be described as avocado paste (usually brown bruised avocado) on soggy toast. I flew it and eat a banana instead. I will not return definitiw, there are so many better gluten-free offers in north sydney."
