"Victoria’s has been a favourite of ours for years .Booked for lunch last Friday- friendly efficient waitress showed us to our reserved table., my husband had the 3 egg omelette and I had the plate meat pie. "We had been recommended by friends in the village to go here. We were shown to our table, and given the menus. In a way I'm glad I didn't go for a starter, as the main was so filling. Drinks orders were taken. Mine was a Beef Shin with tagliatelle. Others had a curry. The chunks of beef were large bitesize, and absolutely gorgeous. Sauce matched, and the whole thing really filled you up. 4 beers were available on tap, that I saw. A Timothy Taylor's (NOT Landlord, but another of their range), an Oakam Ale from Rutland and 2 others I forget which. Staff were great, I think we must have been checked on about 5-6 times over the meal and preamble. If I was in the area again, I'd definitely go back."

"Whitesides is right up there with my favourite sandwich/bakery shops of all time. Not only is their products great their staff are great too. The smaller breakfast sandwich is way ample enough to fill me. Prices are good too and great parking right outside."
