"The Dutch breakfast is a blistering hot serve of baked cheesy egg mixed through with surprise pockets of free range ham. It's fluffy, salty and rich, reminding me of a cheesy frittata or a double-baked souffle. An alternative version with smoked salmon is also available. "Sometimes going Simple can be a good thing. I usually have the tendency of picking odd dishes or meals that have that “Je ne sais pas”..... catchy something about them. This time I decided to get their: Two Poached Eggs, Organic Sourdough, House-made spicy mango...Chutney. *The hero of this simple dish was the Spicy Mango Chutney, hands down. The portion of the Chutney may look small, but it was just the right amount. Because of Sydney’s current unpredictable weather, I went with their Mint cucumber soda. Wow was it refreshing! Let’s not forget the reason why I have breakfast... THE COFFEE. Of course I went with the Flat white, strong and Large cup of coffee. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to the young lady who was soooo friendly and attentive. I didn’t catch her name but she only works 1 or 2 days a week. He service was incredible. She would walk around with a big smile topping up people’s water. She’s certainly a keeper. Thank you again."

"My husband and I ate here last night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and the service good. We had mushrooms in a chilli cream sauce that was my favourite. We also had chicken and corn empanadas, prawns in a chilli tomato sauce and fried quail with vegetables. All yum. It was good value for money and loved the fact we could byo wine at $4 per person. Will definitely return with friends."

"Cruising the streets of Redfern with all there new and exciting cafés that have recent opened up , we decided on the ambience of the park , its people and fauna and flora . Redfern the word conquers up indigenous people but that has slowly...given over to the new bread of hipsters and the overpriced food that comes with the title . Chicken and salad sandwich's were the go but amazing how soon as it touched the air a extra crunch came to the product which as we grabbed for our coffees had that no frills taste about it , if it wasn't for the dogs coming to ask for a bite the meals would of been wasted . Customer service was at a min from staff and maybe during football season and higher turnovers the product may of been different and staff members might be more buzzing ."

"My partner and I went to Allegra one week after it opened as it is close to where we live and the menu looked very interesting.The service was good and you could tell that they were working hard to create good customer service.There was no printed wine list so we had to ask the staff about the options, which was not a problem.We ordered Valpolicella after starting with two cocktails and for food we had the delicious spanner crab arrancini balls followed by the excellent burrata with fig. The ingredients were all fresh and the flavours were fantastic.We then had the semolina rigatoni with oxtail ragu and the mezzaluna filled with pumpkin in a burnt butter sage sauce. Both were well executed and the pasta cooked perfectly.We somehow managed to have a dessert each. The pannacotta with strawberries done three ways was superb and my tiramisu was one of the best i've had. It was far too big and I couldn't finish it.The only slight negative was that the air conditioning was too cold, however, I mentioned this to our server and the feedback was well received.Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant and my partner and I will definitely be going back."
