"Ordered a meal with a drink, drink didn’t arrive. Asked a member of staff to look into it and he refused and told me to wait as was busy. Waited as asked, all my friends orders were being delivered around me , so I asked him again, but he refused and it in the end he said he wouldn’t bring me anything. A poor experience here and I won’t return. Oh and Wetherspoons you still owe me a refund"

"Great pub. the decoration was very attentive and the sun roasting day was unbeatable. especially considering that we were told that a cook was switched off was nurse, so it was just a person in the kitchen. we still commented on how fast food came. will be definitiw back"

"We arrived at a Friday night in rye, hungry. happy house was a few days down from where we were and we have ordered that we have to wait one but 25 minutes later, we had some of the most delicious Chinese food we ever had. piping hot, full of taste and brilliant worth as well."

"When I'm in Rye and up for breakfast or lunch The Fig is my first go to place: small, nice vibe, good coffee, dog friendly and always vegan options (I sometimes was too late for vegan cake, though). At the moment (January 2018) their small menu contains 4 vegan dishes: spicy meican beans on toast wth guacamole and mixed leaf. Squash, red pepper and spinach dahl with coconut yoghurt and flatbread. (my favourite) Falafel wrap with spicy harissa, slaw and rocket. Slow roasted tomatoes on toast with marmite, basil oil, pea shoots and toasted seeds."

"Totally stuffed! I had a huge halloumi salad, husband had a full veggie all day breakfast. Perfect coffees and a very reasonable price tag. Dogs welcome inside which is so good in a chilly day. . Friendly staff, fresh cooked food. Faultless. I’ve been to grander more expensive places and I wish they could provide such wholesome food. Thank you"
