"Good food and nice place but useless service, inattentive and slow (food turned up 45 minutes later than booking time despite pre ordering and no proactive service for two hours). Complained to the manager to be told ‘I’m sorry you feel that way’ with no apologies or explanation."

"4 of us for lunch. We have eaten here before. Staff were friendly if a little slow. We had macaroni, cheeseburger and chunky chips haddock and chips and chicken sandwich with fries. The place became very busy after we placed our order. There was no salad or tomatoes with the cheeseburger snd the cb was very ordinary and quite small. The chunky chips were small and overcooked. Fries too, seemed overcooked. Onion relish on cb was nice though. Macaroni was tasty. haddock was nice too. The restaurant is nicely furnished and seating comfortable but the menu is more in keeping with the venue being a cafe. I felt options for a cooked lunch were a little poor. In summary, the poor choice for a cooked lunch menu was disappointing. Chips and fries need to be freshly cooked. Salad should be provided with burgers."

"I believe its called Radish Restaurant now, after being extended and new furniture being installed. The environment is really nice, the food very good and staff friendly and attentive. The breakfast is unique in my experience as you choose individual items off the menu. The chef will do soft poached eggs ,crispy bacon if asked, and I love the sourdough toast.My wife and I are still exploring the lunch menu, and it 's been excellent so far. As a bonus the coffee is good as well.On a nice day sit outside on the terrace or otherwise try one of the very comfortable sofa 's (if available) inside. It 's a lovely place and I 'm really pleased to endorse it."

"This is my local village pub and after stopping off on our way home group of 5 and giving feedback for three of the group that the Abbots Ale was sub standard, and then enquiring about the extra charge for replacement drinks, were told in no uncertain terms that our custom was not welcome again!!! Mate, your're the ring in not a publicans bootlace!! Seriously does this landlord know how to spell customer serivice??? Good luck won't be getting my custom or any of my friends/acquaintances again. Let's see how long you stay in busi ess???"

"Looking for a dog-friendly location for a walk and lunch for a family reunion mid-way between Lincoln and Bedford. Email sent to ParksInfo on 23rd Dec enquiring if cafe would be open the week after Christmas, and prompt reply yes it would be. On a blustery day the venue was very welcoming and snug. The hog-roast stuffing baguettes, baked potatoes and grilled sandwiches were all excellent, and for a surprisingly busy period at the cafe, service was very swift. We loved the visit."
