We have eaten here so many times but yesterday we left very overwhelmed. We went for the weekend brunch platter, I always order gluten free but yesterday was a complete flop, no waffles and the pancakes were so thick they just crumbled and fell apart… Definitely not light and fluffy… Unfortunately they had no gluten free bread either for the toast to go with the fry up so substituted with hard stale and dry wraps…. "Beyond expectation for a cafe. Greeting, attention to detail warm and welcome. Quality of produce, sausages locally sourced . Stopped for a late brunch, coffee lush ,and a nice pot of tea for the wife. Sausage and bacon roll for us both. We both needed knife and fork, and didn’t need lunch. "What a great find. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is excellent, offering all local produce. The different meat dishes were all looking very tasty. To start, we had the charcuterie, with various pickles, absolutely delicious. I had the 'pub pie ', which was beef and Stilton, my wife had the deer steak. Both were beautifully cooked and presented. The pub offers a number of smoked meats for sale, which they produce themselves. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend The Kings Arms for excellent food and atmosphere."
