"If you want a jolly good breakfast ,a snack, lunch or afternoon tea this is the best in Bristol! The selection the atmosphere, the ambience and the superb attention by management and staff is second to none. With very reasonable prices too. My wife had their home made scone(fit for the Ritz) and I had the best bacon sarnie ever! Make sure you head down there soon, you won’t be disappointed ! We can’t wait to go back again! John and Gill (Bristol) I WISH I COULD GIVE IT A SIX STAR RATING! It also does takeaway."

"Only dropped in for a pint while doing the Cotswold Way but stayed for two. A proper English pub with bags of character, good beers and a friendly landlord. I wish I could move it to my village!"

"Whilst the food is usually pretty good, although today it was not as good I’m not sure whether we will want to go back in the near future. As per the title we are in a global pandemic due to Covid 19 yet no one serving behind the counter or anyone cooking in the kitchen this evening are wearing face masks. You can see through the double doors into the kitchen. It definitely makes me now think what other hygiene issues are potentially being missed in this take away Chinese food restaurant. I’m pretty sure local authorities would want to know why no one is wearing a mask whilst serving, preparing and cooking food for members of the public during this pandemic.!"

"Useless. Call taker was unable to comprehend simple English instruction. This was proven by the fact they had trouble interpreting a simple food order. Call me old fashioned but to the best of my knowledge, pork is a white meat and does not resemble the taste and texture of a mushroom? Additionally, to the best of my knowledge, chicken is also a white meat and doesn’t pretend to be a corn! On a positive note, the delivery took 20mins more than quoted and I must feel lucky to receive food on the same day as the order surely? I’m normally easily pleased and enjoy my Saturday night takeaway, but I’d definitely consider finding an alternate th this poor excuse of a Chinese restaurant!"
