"We used to live in the Village so have always known this place to be a bit hit miss. We came in on the first day of indoor dining, having been nearby with the kids. We didn't have anything extravagant, just sandwiches chips for us a macaroni cheese for the toddler, but it was all really nice was much enjoyed. Distancing measures are good, the table service was attentive was a really pleasant atmosphere. I would tend to avoid this place at busy periods but for what we wanted, a chilled snack after soft play, it really hit the spot. Thank you."

"This was our first visit to Ed's Easy Diner and it won't be our last. The all-day breakfast was excellent with good quality food and generous helpings. The staff were lovely, especially Kieran who served us and the manager who welcomed us when we arrived and was happy to chat. A mistake with our order was rectified quickly and to our satisfaction. We didn't feel rushed during our meal and the bill was very reasonable for a West Quay eatery. Very highly recommended."

"My company often have sandwiches, fruit and snacks delivered for our Board meetings. The delivery is quick and timely and their staff are friendly. The sandwiches taste great and there aren't many left when we've finished. They are happy to pop back out and collect...plates etc."

"Saturday night on a Bank Holiday weekend....the restaurant needed far more diners than the few who were in the room with us for there to be some ambience . The staff visible behind the bar at the other end of the room outnumbered the diners, at least before p.m ; perhaps more people dine later. The best thing I can say about the service is that not all the wait staff seemed to have been trained to a high level or were equally experienced in their roles. The first thing which seemed rather amateurish was to ask us to order drinks without bringing us a wine list. After that, it took quite a while for another member of staff to apologise for sangria being unavailable. We asked for a jug of water, which took a very long time to arrive.Before our meals arrived there was only one other couple in the room, so the staff were not extra-busy. At the end of the meal, one of them had even included the unavailable sangria on our bill, along with the cost of the drink we ordered to replace it. On he plus side, the wait staff were all smartly dressed and polite....just slow and strangely inefficient. The food was delicious and couldn't be faulted; the Australian shiraz was excellent and the coffee good and strong."
