"I'm a trailer in preparation for umb la ccc races. this weekend is shock weekend where I decide to make with 2 friends the tower of the muveran in 2 days 60km. The first step must take us to the rambert hut. Unfortunately we have been late and at the dorbon shelter we have to stop. despite the generous welcome we cannot stay asleep and have to descend on derborence. At the lake hostel, the boss is doing her best to welcome us but impossible to stay. But she's calling the bucket's boss who comes personally to pick us up by car, one of my friends is exhausted. I warmly thank the boss of the lake hostel. at the dildo inn, we are offered a room with 6 beds. But during the evening, other people are exhausted, broken, without a corner to sleep. We accept of course that they come to our room, 3 beds its empty. solidarity with derborence is exemplary. In the evening we ate an excellent fondue to the chalote. thanks to all the people involved in dorbon, lake and bucket"

"Pleasant location with view of lake. Very slow service - waited for the menu and any service. Food adequate maybe but overpriced - they ran out of pudding (ice cream). At the end there appeared to be only one unfortunate waitress who had to cope with all the customers. Unsatisfactory. This place probably OK for a drink with a view but not otherwise. Avoid."

"This used to be a trendy sushi place, and may well be again if this pop-up experiment isn't repeated. They are trying to mimick the hip modern gastro-dining you'd find in London or LA with slick presentation and unusual ingredient combinations, but my guests didn't think it worked. Good barman, decent atmosphere and unchanged decor from previous years, but soggy fries and spotty table service summed up the experience. Keep trying guys, something like this in Verbier would make a welcome change."

"We did the coat check for four coats and were given three tickets, at the end of the night we went to get our coats and they refused to give us the coat they didn’t give us a ticket for. We described the coat and the brand but we were refused the coat, it is hard to understand the logic."
